Focus Timer ("the App") is developed by Tomasz Sobczak. This policy explains how the App handles information.
Summary
We do not collect any personal data. The App works fully offline and does not connect to external servers, analytics services, or advertising networks.
Data stored on your device
The App stores the following locally on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac using Apple's SwiftData framework:
- Timer settings (durations, presets, notification preferences)
- Completed focus sessions (start time, duration, optional task name)
- Daily tasks you create
This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete sessions and tasks at any time from within the App (Settings → Reset Data).
Data we do not collect
- No account or login
- No name, email, or contact information
- No location data
- No usage analytics or crash reporting SDKs
- No advertising identifiers
- No network requests
Notifications
If you enable notifications, the App schedules local alerts on your device to notify you when a timer phase ends. Notification permission is requested through Apple's system dialog. We do not receive any information about your notification settings.
Children
The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
